WebService Cruiser: News & History
- 1/8/2008 WebService Cruiser 3.5.1 released.
This is a maintenance release, also the last 3.x release. The new 4.0 release is under development and will use Apache's HttpClient 4.x and enhanced SOAP/WSDL support.
- 6/10/2006 WebService Cruiser 3.5.0 released.
The major improvements over 3.4.x are:.
- upgraded to use Apache's HttpClient 3.0. Much better performce.
- embedded an evaluation license.
- fixed all reported bugs.
- 7/20/2004 WebService Cruiser 3.4.0 released.
The major improvements: using DHTML technologies to improve the usability and performamnce.:
- use a DHTML processing bar to replace the previous popup windows, so you will get the response faster. Furthermore, each WebService Cruiser screen has its own processing bar (you may open multiple WebService Cruiser screens to test different inputs).

- fixed all reported bugs.

- 1/12/2006 WebService Cruiser 3.3.0 released.
The major improvements over previous versions are:
- Added support for transparent connections through HTTP proxies. Furthermore, there are two ways to set the proxy:
- globally via WebService Cruiser Administration panel
- on per session base via
Advanced Settings panel by clicking "More Settings" button on the
Request Input panel.
- Improved GUI.

- Added timeout control for the requests. There are two kinds of timeout:
- HTTP connection establishing timeout.
- Waiting for data timeout (after connected)
- There are two ways to set the timeout:
- Globally via WebService Cruiser Administration panel.
- On per session base by clicking "Timeout Setting" button on the Request Input panel.
